Privacy Policy

There's no login, no account creation, and no way to submit personal information to us through this site — there's simply nowhere on the site that asks for it. Every tool (calculators, converters, the printable sizer) works by running calculations directly in your browser using a fixed, published conversion chart — no data ever needs to leave your device for the site to function.

As of August 23, 2026, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall site traffic — for example, which pages are popular and roughly how visitors find the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects standard analytics data such as your approximate location (derived from IP address, which is not stored alongside the rest of the data), device/browser type, and which pages you visit. We don't use this data to identify you personally, and we don't combine it with any other information. Beyond Google Analytics and the possible advertising described below, we don't run any other tracking scripts.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block cookies entirely in your browser's privacy settings. Doing so won't affect any of the calculators or converters on this site — they all run locally in your browser regardless of your analytics settings.

If anything else changes beyond what's described on this page, we'll update it first, and describe exactly what's being collected and why, before any such change goes live.

The "Save sizes for people you shop for" tool (available on the homepage and the ring size calculator) stores whatever you save using your browser's built-in local storage — a feature every browser provides for websites to remember things, similar to how a site might remember your last search. That data stays only in the browser you saved it in; it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, we have no way to see or access it, and it is permanently deleted the moment you clear your browser's site data or switch to a different browser or device.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any website host, Cloudflare's infrastructure necessarily processes standard technical request information (such as IP address and browser user-agent) to deliver pages to your browser and to protect the site from abuse — this happens automatically at the hosting/network level for any website on the internet, the same way a postal service needs a delivery address to deliver mail. We do not separately collect, access, or make use of this information ourselves.

Our how-to-measure guide embeds one third-party tutorial video, served directly from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode, which avoids setting tracking cookies unless you press play). Loading that page still causes your browser to request the video player directly from YouTube/Google, who can see that the page was visited and may process that request under their own privacy policy — we don't control that, and it isn't covered by this policy. No other page on this site embeds any third-party content.

A few pages also link out (as plain clickable links, not embeds) to third-party websites — for example, a brand or country's own sizing chart we've referenced, always clearly marked and opened in a new tab. Once you click through, you're on that other site, subject to its own privacy practices, which we don't control and this policy doesn't cover.

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and/or other third-party advertising vendors. These vendors may use cookies (including Google's advertising cookies) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or the industry-wide opt-out at aboutads.info/choices. Advertising, if shown, never determines or influences any calculator result on this site.
